    TÜV Austria awarded Travod with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2015 certifications and ATC has certified Travod for ISO 18587: 2017 – Post Editing of Machine Translation Output.

    ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognized standard that ensures that our language services meet the needs of our clients through an effective quality management system. We have developed and implemented the quality management system in order to improve the overall performance, maintain a high-level of quality and strong customer service and provide a sound basis for sustainable language services.

    ISO 17100:2015 is the standard for companies within the translation industry, which covers the essential processes for providing a translations service. It establishes and defines the translator, their technical resource and quality of service. Its aim is to outline the service a client will receive within a recognized set of procedures that are carried out to best practice.

      Translation and Localisation

      Purpose: External communication, Ready-to-publish content

      Translation of content performed by a professional, native linguist, followed by an editing and proofreading stage, performed by a second linguist. This two-step process secures the quality of the initial translation to be in concordance with style requirements and is the industry’s best practice.

      Interpreting

      The facilitation of spoken or signed language communication between people of different languages. Interpreting is offered live, on-site or via telecommunication method (audio or video).

      Desktop Publishing Service

      The process of layout formatting of a document prepared for online or print. The service includes the consecutive translation and text/layout formatting inside the same document or graphics tool.

      Editing and Proofreading

      Editing involves the process of examining and improving the flow and quality of writing. Proofreading implies the process of verifying the translated content against the source.

      How it works?

      Place a request

      Create a new quote and fill in all the mandatory fields. Upload the content for translation.

      Receive the quote

      Your account manager analyzes the content and provides you with a quote for approval.

      Approve the quote

      When you approve the quote, the project goes live. Your PM team assigns the project to linguists and translation begins.

      Download the files

      When the translation is done you receive an email notification. Your files are ready for download.

      What is the Client Portal?

      The Client Portal is an online platform, designed to simplify for you the management of Translation Projects. Everything related to translations, can be managed through the Client Portal: quote placement, management of existing projects, communication with your dedicated account manager.

      How do I register on the Customer Portal

      In order to register on the Customer Portal, please use the above form. Shortly after submitting the data, you’ll receive an email with the link and your credentials to access the platform.

      Which services does Travod offer?

      Travod offers the entire range of language services: translations, localisation, editing and proofreading, transcreation, interpreting, as well as desktop publishing (graphic design services) and formatting of documents and marketing materials.

      What are your working hours?

      The account manager is available from 8:30 – 18:30 CET;

      Our Project Management team works in three shifts (24 h) and 6 days per week, so there is always a dedicated Project Manager taking care of your project.
